Dexsum Plumbing was built by a plumber who learned the trade properly, worked his way up through every kind of job, and started his own business with one rule: do every job the way you would want it done in your own home.

Where It Began

Started at the Bottom. Learned Everything.

Dexter started in the trade the way most good plumbers do. At the bottom. Carrying tools, watching, asking questions, and getting stuck in on the jobs nobody else wanted. He was not handed anything.

Over 30 years he worked through every kind of job you can imagine. Old Victorian terraces with no access and ancient pipework. Brand new commercial builds with tight deadlines. Midnight emergency call-outs when a pipe had burst and a family had no water. He learned from experienced tradesmen who held one rule above everything else:

"If you would be ashamed for another plumber to open that wall and see your work, do it again."

That stuck. After more than two decades working for others, Dexter started Dexsum Plumbing. Not just to run a business, but to do things his way, to his standard, with his name behind it.
